PROGRAMMING
Chapter Programming is the “heart” of the organization. It is the way that we “create a medium of contact for children that stimulates growth and development.” The Buffalo Chapter plans annual programming activities guided under our five point programmatic thrust: EDUCATION, CULTURAL, CIVIC, SOCIAL/RECREATIONAL, and HEALTH.
Programmatic Thrusts
EDUCATION
CULTURAL
CIVIC
SOCIAL/RECREATIONAL HEALTH
Social/Recreational
We engage our children both socially and recreationally. Learning to interact with peers and others in a healthy, positive and productive manner helps our children grow into productive members of the community.
Culture
We explore our history and remember the ways of living developed by communities and passed on from generation to generation. We teach our children to cherish their past and be excited about the future.
Health
We are a health conscious organization that is aware of the health issues that impact our communities. We are committed to educating families to live healthy lifestyles.
Education
Jack and Jill beleives that every child if guided can be a leader. Through education and skill enhancement we develop outstanding leaders.
Civic
We have been committed to legislation aimed at bettering the lives of all children.
